Columbus is a really nice place but, if I didn't know where I was, I would have guessed NoVa. It's one of those types of places.

well duh rooskie im not stupid.saturdays are way better in columbus. as a town though i will take cville. it is a "college" town, not much else there than the university. columbus has much more than ohio state.

I have never seen SB make any best of anything lists. I have not been there in some time but back then the downtown was dead and there were few college type businesses near ND. Just a wide street with some hotels, gas stations, fast food and such on it.

My South Bend experiences are equally unimpressive. The campus and stadium are top notch ... the rest of SB not so much.

Well, you really have to go to South Bend on a Saturday in the fall, when UND is at home. There is really nothing like it, especially when Michigan is in town.

Lawrence is nowhere near Top 5-worthy. Cool town but not top five.

But they have a Jimmy John's! That's got to put them in at least the Top 10.

...actually, Ames (Iowa) has a Jimmy John's too, I think. So, nevermind.
