He's got a great arm, so there is the POTENTIAL to be really good. I've always been a fan of his simply because he would be running the team better than Vick.

pssshh

the falcons over his career are 37-28 with him in the lineup and 3-11 without him. and don't give me bullcrap about their defense being part of it...their defense has given up 23 pts a game over the past 4 years....thats abysmal.....he has a pretty good rb in warrick dunn but hes got a horrible o-line and absolutely horrible wideouts....

vick has lots of personal issues as well as motivational issues i beleive. on the field he still gears towards a "don't wait it out, run" and his accuracy ain't wonderful but his receivers have pig hoofs for hands apparently....

but there is no denying that he wins games....hes taken them 1 game away from a superbowl...

i think jim mora jr is a bigger moron than his father and has no idea how to reign in players....

schaub is ready, and im not saying that because im an UVA homer. he has played well in the games he has played, and he knows the offensive scheme that kubiak runs. he is a smart player, and i really hope he does well. i agree with TD though, if they do not improve their O-line, it will not make a difference.

I agree that he never got a fair sake but I also think that he had the added burden of not really being all that good. He was the best QB coming out of college in '02 but that's relative to his competition and doesn't say much b/c the only other 2 QBs drafted in the 1st round that year were Joey Harrington and Patrick Ramsey. In fact, the best QB of that draft may end up being David Garrard who didn't go until the 4th round. Unfortunately, Carr was the 1st ever pick for the Texans and had the entire weight of the franchise thrust on him from Minute 1 and, as a result, he never had the chance to be anything except the star of the team. I think he would have been a lot better off to have been taken further down and given a chance to learn and adapt to the league and become a solid role-player for some team. Maybe now he'll finally get that chance.
