I'm so ticked off, I get off of work to find out we lost. Dunton needs to be fired, there are no excuses for us not winning with the talent we have. I thought losing to Lipscomb and St. Francis would just fuel the team up to win more (well, no upsets at the BYU tournament or against Florida, I as expected), but I expected a win against UNCA.

At least the Cowboys lost.

That's what I wanna know. Right now, we seriously look like the Charleston Southern of basketball. I'm with losing games, it happens to everyone. We're not up to 20 losses in a row on the road and 7 losses in a row this season.

Students did start to come back to campus today (classes start Monday), but the local/alumni crowd was the best I've ever seen...I would've never guessed a crowd that big would show up in early January..it usually takes a few weeks after Christmas break for the crowds to pick up at the Coliseum.

Ok, well we still have more students than you and I'm willing to bet we don't crack 3500 this year.

Honestly, don't take anything from the box score in this game. UNCA had a fair amount of turnovers before halftime, but most of them came when Liberty pressed in the second half and was already down by 26 points.

Brewington's foul trouble shouldn't hurt. Smith was never in foul trouble (he picked up his third and fourth late in the second half). Liberty supposedly has enough depth to counter the foul trouble.

This was as bad of a game as I've seen Liberty play -- this season. You know what this game was a carbon copy of? The Longwood game in Farmville last year. It was completely over by halftime. Don't take anything from Liberty scoring 59 in the second half. UNCA was bound to let up a bit when it was up 26 with 9:30 left. The shooting percentage was good in the second half because UNCA coughed the ball up and LU got lots of uncontested layups and dunks.

If Liberty doesn't beat Radford Tuesday, bank on 0-6 to start the Big South.

I know we will win the game against RU......it's home, and they SHOULD have a little bit of motivation.....I figured a 3AM practice this morning was in order

Are classes back in at Radford? Because this being a home game doesn't mean much since no Liberty students will be there (well, I'll be there). Radford students generally make the drive to Lynchburg, or at least they have in the past few years. They may have the advantage.
