That might be the most appropriate culture fit I’ve ever seen.

100%.
Colorado gets far more press than proportional to their competitive relevance because of Deion. This is, on paper, a great fit for Kaidon. What Shedeur did and what KS is capable of are very similar. Also, Colorado's QB depth is very thin behind Sanders, so as of today the job is his in '25. Kaidon has the arm talent to play at the next level. His attitude is what needs the most tweaking and hopefully a 3rd change of scenery does the trick.
I hope he lights it up next year! Hearing, "Liberty transfer, Kaidon Salter" on national media only helps LU in brand recognition with the success he has.

No
Good news, especially with Bryce Dixon deciding to leave the portal and come back. Add a bit of depth and the DL could be really strong next year.

Agreed, Salter will likely start and retain the job as long as he performs. I would guess he would not have made the commitment unless that was the plan.

Wouldn’t be the first time Salter’s plans didn’t come to fruition.

Call me salty... but I'm over Salter. I laughed when he said in that article that CU recruited him because they "...thought he would be a good mentor." Come on now...

Is our portal window closed now that the spring semester has started?

There's two sides to every story/situation. But hey, why not throw someone under the bus since we the fans/observers know the entire intel of that locker room last season

When he wasn't voted a team Captain, that's when "the wind shifted to an unfavorable direction".

There are 20 year old kids and there are 20 year old men. How players behave and react to criticism and feedback is entirely on them and not the coach. It doesn't take a person on the inside to know when there's toxic behavior happening, particularly when it's in the open on the sidelines.
