If we play the way we did fourth quarter against Gardner-webb, that style could help control clock. To me, clock control will be the ultimate key. And HF is usually pretty good at that.

As long as it's not 2 passes in a row after a 7yd gain on 1st down. The way we played against Wake has me excited for the potential of this game - especially knowing it should in all likelihood set an attendance record. It will take playmaking in all three phases like we had against Wake and maybe a few lucky bounces to go our way as well.

I see what you are saying but if we play like we did against GW, we will lose by 35.

I know of parents with season tickets, who had to buy 2 extra tickets to sit on the Berm with their Flame Kid's Club member. That doesn't seem right.

I have one extra but I don't plan to put it on stubhub. Not sure what I'll do with it.

I have 2, maybe 3 extra tickets. Mine are "hard copy". I may scalp them on the street, or advertise them on twitter or facebook.

So they’ve been sitting apart from their kids all year so far?

Per HCHF comments today, it seems Charlie is still a week away from being given the green light to start. Yet, I struggle with accepting these comments in totality. Is HCHF keeping the actual gameplan (including Charlie) close to the vest? Until JB runs out with the first team offense on Saturday, I am still believing Charlie gets the start.

We are already going to be hurting without Clark and some others on D. If Brewer doesn't get to play.....it will be a long day.

I sure would like to know if JB is the guy for Saturday. It would save me a 6 hour trip. 8)

My gut is that #16 breaks the huddle first tomorrow. This game is too big for the school, the brand, coach Freeze and for Charlie. If Brewer is only 90%, that is better than a 100% JB or Hampton. The 80+ other players on the field deserve the best chance to win that Brewer provides.

I had planned on making it to Williams Stadium tomorrow until my work intervened. Seriously bummed.

When this game was scheduled I had hoped it would be a game of some significance. It is proving to be so,

Look for me on the berm with the kiddos. I'll give a full report on the conditions. I'm expecting concessions to be a nightmare.

Love this quote "They're good offensively and great defensively ...... But we are BYU" ..... Freeze needs to spread that one around the locker room. :D

Brewer has only 6 games at most to complete his NFL resume. With the bye week next week, it would behoove him to sit out this week if he is not physically ready. So, if he steps on the field, expect to see some fireworks.

I think brewer will see the field but not until things go sideways with Bennett. Brewer still didn't have much zip on his throws earlier in the week from the videos I saw. He couldve just been taking it easy but I doubt it based on HF comments yesterday. Of course things could've improved over the course of the week but probably not by that much.

What matchups do we take advantage of tomorrow?
Just seems this game is weakness v weakness, strength v strength in a lot of personnel groups

Our WR v their CB’s (weak)
Our DLine v. Their OLine (strong)
Our RB’s v their LB’s (strong)

Where do we stand out?

We have to set up the run game. We have the backs to do it, but we can't wait on things to go sideways to put in Brewer in a game like this. Hopefully, TJ is healthy and with Dae Dae and Shedro...we can move the ball. I also WANT TO THINK and am HOPEFUL that HCHF has been intentionally vague both in comments and in on field plays thus far, and that he has put together one h*** of a game plan. I trust he knows how to win this game. That advantage is hard to quantify this season...but I think it exist and we will see it in less than 12 hours!
