We want Josh's shirt of red color to remain firmly on his back for the remainder of this year ... ditto for Gabe. As long as Mike can run out there we need to save the year of eligibility for both guys. Next year we will be extremely deep in talent at QB but we will yet to have had somebody prove much on the field.

Agree about Ayers. Not sure if he will play safety or CB next year though. And Woodrum is redshirting which is why he hasn't played. We have 3 QBs on roster this year - MB, Hudson and Brennan

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — When Kevin Fogg tiptoed down the sideline and broke into the end zone for a touchdown that gave Liberty its final points in a 38-16 win at Charleston Southern on Saturday, any energy that was left in CSU Stadium was gone.

The 82-yard kickoff return to open the second half put Liberty up 38-0 on a day where the offense took the second half off and the defense and special teams carried the Flames to a relatively easy victory over a winless foe.

And a few more nuggets including decent preliminary injury reports ...

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — After Saturday’s loss to Liberty, Charleston Southern coach Jay Mills shook his head while talking about how good his kickoff coverage teams had been in the last four weeks. Liberty’s Kevin Fogg, the Big South’s leading kick returner, opened the second half with an 82-yard kick return that put the game away, but it wasn’t CSU’s scheme that tripped up the Buccaneers. It was the tackling.

Or lack thereof.

It is looking less and less far fetched. Although SMOOTH is a hater, I think the kid could do fine up there if they stuck with him the whole game!

im not a rocco hater...stick with him the whole game though! as for the LU rout, hey it is what it is, we dominated defensively and AA was a beast. Im sure MB will be fine. he is a true gamer. love seeing hyland and sigmon play so well.

We dominated defensively? Okay, 4 INT's. But, still gave up 400 yards.

A lot of that came in the second half when we basically were on cruise control

Looking at outcomes of lower top 25 match-ups over the weekend, looks like with our record we could be ranked Monday!
This from the fact that: Texas State, Tennessee Tech, and Norfolk state all lost, and these are just some of the upsets.

CSU is in very bad shape. The second stringer that came in , was a major brightspot. Extending some plays, making some throws.
