Presby. 08.
Sorry, but there's no way your loss to Presby is worse than CSU's loss today. Absolutely no way.

Im with Randy on this one...I mean they lost to a D3 school...yes one of the top D3 schools...but still...a D3 school...I mean at least PC was a D1 transitional...CSU may go 0-11 this year

These scores jumped out at me last night .....

Richmond 7
James Madison 31

JMU is for real, maybe a top 5 team.

Yale 7
Lehigh 37

Yale was 2-0, Lehigh destroyed them. Embarrassed them.

Massachusetts 33
Old Dominion 48

ODU is making a run at the top of the Colonial .. already :!: ! Look out :!: !

Appalachian St. 14
Wofford 28

November 12 showdown between Georgia Southern and Wofford! Wow, should be a good 1 !

It's possibly we have lost to a "top 5" team and possibly "two" top 5 teams by a total of 6 points .... If we can avoid all slip ups from here on out we will "belong" in the playoffs.

Man we are AWESOME we lost two games to top 5 schools! How can we NOT win the FCS Championship this year! The more games we lose to Top 5 teams should show everyone that we are that more awesome!

Exactly. This is such an old argument. "Well, look how good the teams we lost to are. Maybe if JMU wins the NC, we can be Co-Champs!"

well its an old argument, but at least the teams haven't gone in a tailspin after we lose to them like has been the norm in recent years. It always made losing to these teams that much harder. Does them doing well make it any better?? No...but it doesn't make it worse.

No, it just means if our playcalling were better or we didn't commit so many dumb penalties that we'd be a top 5 team right now. Which hurts more than it helps.

What makes you think "everything will be clicking"? The fact that we always run through the Big Sou... oh wait.

Guys, I think this thread has gotten away from the one thing Liberty & CCU fans can agree on - that we should all make fun of CSU for being an absolute embarrassment to themselves and the rest of the conference by losing to a D3 school. :nod

I understand that 5 JMU players were suspended for the game against Richmond and maybe for the year. Thorpe (QB) an Scott(RB) are among those that got suspended. Apparently they didn't play against Richmond. Apparently they had two other running backs that helped them rush for 297 yards.

Scott played. He's not suspended. He just got hurt during the game. He carried the ball 8 times.

And only two players were suspended Thorpe (allegedly for five games for failing a drug test) and reserve LB Chase Williams (same offense).

Someone should stake out the admissions office to see if they enroll today. Still time to make an impact this year in the BSC!

Normally, that would be a good job for BJ, but he's out of town.
