harris teeter is in seven states and DC now and in virginia as atrain said in cville and northern virginia. i loved them when i lived in NC and remember the days in lynchburg till they sold their locations to Kroger and moved out of the roanoke/lynchburg market. With wal-mart supercenters all over the area now they are easily #2 in this market with food lion last IMO.
