They don't have a team they grew up cheering for or whatever the case, but there is no way anybody with true knowledge of basketball can say the nba of today lacks what you say it lacks and its nice to finally see some people on here that see that.

He made scoring look so easy in college but wasn't a very strong defensive player, he gets to the nba where the play is so much faster, the defenses are more aggressive and he struggled. On top of that he was not a good defender..now he has adjusted his game, gotten bigger, and is much better defensive player then people realize. If the nba lacked the things some people say it does then players like JJ would have absolutely no problem coming into the nba.
I think the NBA gets a bad rap when it comes to fundamentals and defense. Look at free throw shooting. NBA percentages are like 8% higher than NCAA. A lot of talented scorers in college can't make it in the league because they can't cut it defensively.
