Actually that is not true.. Canes win and the Rangers win then the Canes will play Pittsburgh.. If the Canes win and the Caps win then the Canes will play Boston....It's this thing called re-seeding

Rangers and Caps are tied 3 games to 3, 7th game is Tuesday night

Capitals forward Donald Brashear was suspended Monday by the NHL for a total of six games -- five for what the league called a "blind-side hit" on Rangers center Blair Betts -- and will miss Game 7 of the teams' first-round playoff series.

Canes pull off the shocker scoring two goals in the last two minutes to take the series from Jersey on their own ice. Love it.

Boston is up next.
