But do not kid yourselves about his "style" with his players and the other coaches.
He knows his football business and good. His background has prepared him well and he asks for his players' focus and effort.

I am referencing his style at a Christian University where once the pads are hung-up for good, one measure of the man will be those he inspired along the way and the impact that he can make on young men's lives that will be with them over the next 40 to 50 years. Not just the 2 to 5 years as player is at LU.

Our Lord will always give us second chances, "do-overs"....coaches do not have to.

Trouble will reveal what is ones heart.

Go FLAMES, the country is beginning to take notice.

So you have more of a problem with him personally rather then his coaching...b/c your first comment made it seem like it was a coaching issue....which is it?

Sorry BJ, this guy needs to be debated. Stew, He's an assistant, the job you now speak of is Coach Rocco's ultimately!

Why so small? Any reasoning behind that? I'm just asking, not criticizing.

Here's a question though...

What if it was Stony Brook versus a team of miniature Liberty Flames? I'd say 17-14 Liberty.

But if Coach Rocco was regular-sized, and it was still Mini-Liberty, 35-11.

Regular competition? 63 for Liberty to -2 for Stony Brook. Rocco will find a way.

since our opponent this week hails from the great state of New York ill give them a break...
Liberty 48 Stony Brook 0
16,003 in attendance
sbu looked like garbage against hofstra....and just some perspective on the current state of d1 college football in NY sbu is at the bottom of the d1 food chain up here which is especially bad given the best d-1 team in NY award is a tie between Syracuse and the University at Buffalo
