What's the over/under for how long until plastic pylons will be dotted all around that intersection?

file this under "I shouldn't doubt JR"

never thought they would get this ready for students this fall

consider the fact that mid week LAST WEEK this was a full blown construction site... with a road thru the sidewalk area, no landscaping, a big pit in the middle, and no paving done

sod amazes me

Bus Stop.
My graduating class (at the Master's level) helped raise money for bus stops around campus. I am glad they are actually putting some up.

Unbelievable!

When I showed them to my former music major wife, all she could say was, "Go away!"

I know it makes me sound like an Old Hag, but as a Concert Choir alum...current kids really don't understand how good they have it!!

You raise a good point which also speaks to another reason it's important to keep alumni involved. Opportunities for alumni to speak in class, mentor, and networking is not just a way for alumni to tell the students "back in my day :oldhag" but rather speak to the current opportunities or challenges that exist in their field while touching on their Liberty experience. The students won't need to be told how good they have it when it's quite apparent through the genuine approach from alumni.

Great point, HMO. It'd be great to get our faculty connected into providing alumni more speaking opportunities.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who had that Concert Choir experience. I had Kevin singing directly behind me before he joined DC Talk. The experience shamed me out of the choir after a year.

Man...that looks nice and all, but it makes me miss the old band hall. Wonder if cdbilton has had a chance to check it out yet?

Getting back to making fun of the roundabout, I had to use it this afternoon and there were several confused motorists as well as terrfied pedestrians. Should be a lot of accidents

I drove by the roundabout today, and Mrs. Cider noticed all the tire prints on it where people have driven right over it. :frustrated

LU better go ahead and install a traffic camera there to record the action if fenderbenders and pedestrian incidents are likely.
