One, I have no idea how much of the poolboy story is true. But if it is, at the end of the day the 3 of them were consenting adults.

Now if he is sending nude pictures of female students to the pool boy, students that attend his school he is the president of? That is a whole other ballgame and potentially criminal, especially if they did not consent.

Again. That is a huge difference. Again. I hope it isn't true but if it is this could get even messier.

As El Scorcho referenced, I am hearing this story is about to get much worse. There will be more revelations come streaming out from multiple sources. Now that the code of silence has been broken the true gravity of the depravity is going to be exposed. Many folks who have direct knowledge but still love the university even after leaving it have kept this from coming out sooner. But Number 32:23 remains undefeated.

I think many of us have been so focused on getting him out of the position that looking up and seeing the disaster left behind is going to become even more painful now.

I think him leaving before all this comes out inoculates the University to an extent. If this were drawn out and these new revelations came out it absolutely would be devastating. As it is these are going to hurt Junior more than the University. When these things break where can the anger be focused? LU already got rid of him. In this instance it’s a good thing he’s not as well know as his Dad. There are people a mere hour away that had never even heard of him. I even had 2 people ask me what Juniors father had to say. They didn’t even know he was dead.
So while I totally agree these revelations are gonna be ugly I don’t think it will be devastating. Elmer nailed it - LU belongs to the students (paraphrased).

So, let's just say it turns out they exercise the "nuclear option" and all the board members resign. Where do we start? It's unrealistic to think that one or 2 people would do the vetting for those board members who wish to return and/or replacements for those who don't. I would say a committee of 10 or so would be needed. Maybe more. Who picks that committee? I can think of 2 key people who by all appearances are unscathed by this and would be a good start:

Elmer Townes

Maybe there are others, but I think that's a good start.
