Paul Ryan is chairman of the House budget committee, who put forth a budget proposal for FY 2013 that had a
deficit of
833 Billion dollars and only had a
chance to be a balanced budget by the year 2030.
Paul Ryan once
said,
I am the budget chairman. I am a Republican. I am a conservative. I have been pointing out the big flaws of all of the taxing and the spending that has been going on around here
and yet voted for
Bushcare (Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003),
The Bank Bailouts,
No child left behind, and a
host of other big government programs.
Paul Ryan's
record on war and intervention abroad includes:
-Voting YES on authorizing military force in Iraq. (Oct 2002)
-Voting YES on emergency $78B for war in Iraq & Afghanistan. (Apr 2003)
-Voting YES on declaring Iraq part of War on Terror with no exit date. (Jun 2006)
-Voting NO on redeploying US troops out of Iraq starting in 90 days. (May 2007)
Also, Paul Ryan's record on civil liberties includes voting to allow the president to indefinitely detain American citizens without trial, when not assassinating them via drones. (
NDAA 2012)
Conclusion: On the biggest budget issues, Ryan spends more than a drunken sailor! He is a Pro-War Big Government Republican.
