High school varsity programs get their scores announced on Friday night whether they're Amherst County or Staunton River. It doesn't matter how good you are, because you're a Varsity program, you get mentioned. The good middle schools don't get mentioned for a reason. A bad Varsity team is going to get mentioned before the best middle school program. It's the same with DI and DIII.

I think you need to reread the thread. You're not the one saying we should be treated the same as Duke but nobody else did either. I think the only "special treatment" that was mentioned was a shout out on the local news before the game. And that's really not that special. Students should be coming to games and cheering because they have pride in their school and the teams that represent them. Nobody's asking for New Mexico-like loyalty in the fans quite yet. ok in a non-biases opinion KW i'm gonna lay this out there.

you are being retarded. noone on here or on God's green earth thinks that LU basketball should get the same tv coverage as DUKE. (even though are arena is nicer) you have to understand and this goes along with the rest of ya'll. in this city people either love or hate LU. The people who actually care about the games we play usually show up. However. i think its a resonable expectation of the LOCAL media to at least throw up a score or a few seconds of highlights from the games at LU before or after giving the ACC and top 25 run downs. LU should take precidence over smaller schools like randolph macon,LC and others including highschool because more people in this city are involved with LU than any other college here. so take your LC Rabidity elsewhere. and for the record i don't hate LC in any way form or fashion. I went to see your girls softball team play at methodist in the tourney last year and I have a ton of friends there. i don't understand why so many LU people look down on LC and why so many LC people hate LU. but maybe thats just because i can look past differences and all that but you know maybe i'm just being too logical about this. who knows....

NO film highlight, NO score on the screen, NOT even a verbal score as the weekend sports guy was signing off. Instead, it was ALL football, including a lot of high school ball up in Amherst. Is it really more important to take up airtime by interviewing half a dozen Amherst fans BEFORE the game talking about parking than to mention an LU win over DI Niagara?
