:dontgetit not sure how talking to a fan in the stands clear that up.

Getting ejected is not a mortal sin by any stretch of the imagination. My only question is why even bring up profanity. I thought his explanation about being too emotional was fine. But as was pointed out I'm not thinking like a Liberty fan.
My GUESS was that perhaps the fan made accusations about him using profanity. He used the interview to underscore that he didn't in case others also thought he did. Why is that hard to understand? :dontgetit

After reading Lang's final thoughts it is obvious that Coach Layer brought up profanity because Lang asked him if he said something to get the T. Chris could not see the jacket manuever. That explains it.

I totally didn't see the jacket come off. Too much was going on, and I was across the floor from where everyone was standing and blocking the view. Was looking for a replay on the Big South network this morning and it wasn't posted it.

As for the Sanders charge, I probably reacted the way I did at the time of the call because a) I didn't see it clearly and b) it's unusual to see a charge call like that made so far from the basket. But once I got more information, I could see why the call was made. Probably another case of the TV audience having a better view than I did.

It was something about how he remembers when playing basketball was fun. I can't find it anywhere at the moment. It wasn't a huge deal just indicative of the team's struggles.

I don't have a problem with Davon's tweet. Social media has given the public direct reflections of an athlete's thoughts. I would say that 90% of college athletes do not find the sport they are playing to be as much fun as it was when they played in high school. The team has struggled this season and Davon has not shot well lately. Is anyone going to admit that this process is fun? Just because it is not fun does not mean that he has given up on the team or the season. It may be time for someone to step into Marshall's role on the court for a while, but I don't think it will be the end for him. 20-year old's can change their mood/attitude day to day. Today is a new day. We're all allowed to have a bad day at the office. Let's not hold these athletes to an unrealistic ideal. They're people with emotions, not robots.

I think 'jump' might be a bit of a stretch.
His form is one that causes him to be streaky. He puts the ball in front of his face and shoots with a 'wiper' motion. It means he's capable of making 20 in a row but also missing 20 in a row. At least that's what the Fundamentals of Upwards Basketball shows
