I had the sound down and I was in the kitchen. I saw the bench reaction but didn't see the injury. So I pressed rewind on the DVR to see what they were reacting to. I was standing 2 feet from the TV and I almost fainted. That was by far the worst injury I have seen.

His best years were when his dad was his assistant coach. I don't particularly care for him as a person either. I will defend him to a point. What they talked about in Hoosiers about being treated like a god was spot on. Here is a guy who could do no wrong from about the time he was 10. They built a High School gym just to accommodate fans coming to see HIM play. He goes to IU to play for a legend where he wins player honors, wins a National Title, Gold Medal and is a 2nd round draft choice. When he got into coaching everyone penciled him in as a future head coach at IU. ( not to mention a cheesy shooting video that sold thousands of copies)
Having been treated like that is going to warp ones self opinion.

Banner day for Louisville hoops to say the least. Was shocked at how bad K got outcoached today. Did he even make defensive adjustments today? For goodness sake, you can't even dream of being able to guard them off the dribble, ever heard of a zone or something other than the garbage that wasn't working?

Overall, that was about as boring of an Elite Eight as I can remember. I didn't even have to watch the majority of the second half for three games. Would have been four beat downs if Wichita hadn't folded like a cheap suit under the pressure of trying to close out a game. Hope the Final Four is better than the steaming pile of crap that was the Elite Eight.

Nah, Howland is a much better X's and O's guy than Alford. Howland's problem was that he had burned bridges with the major AAU coaches in the LA area and was struggling to get the top local stars to stay in the area despite the big name recruits he landed from elsewhere.

2011 Final Four says hi. Will be hard to have worse quality basketball than we saw then because that was some truly wretched basketball, but this group would have to be on par with them. That Butler squad might have been the worst NCAA Finalist in history. Doubt we see Wichita St. give them a run for their money in that category.
