Im no redskins fan but here is the thing I think with the whole RG3 experiment in Washington:
He is a run first QB with a pretty decent arm, but his primary playmaking came from his legs. AFTER the first knee injury against Seattle, they tried to shoehorn (for lack of a better term) into a style more conducive to a pocket passer style QB, which is not his style, to keep him from further injury. After he injured his knee a second time, not only do you have the fact that they (Washington) are trying to make him a pocket passer, but also the psychological problems stemming from the two knee injuries. I think if he had been handled in more of a style similar to how Russell Wilson was handled in Seattle, while I don't think they would have ended up with a super bowl and an appearance in back to back seasons, there is a chance they would have at least been a solid competitor in the NFC
