Some of you guys may remember a point guard from down here in Houston that we were chasing a year ago. Ryan McCoy of Houston Madison (Vince Young's alma mater) eventually picked Tulsa over us. But he couldn't get past the Clearinghouse and he went JUCO.

Well he just helped lead Arkansas-Fort Smith to the NJCAA Division I National Championship as a freshman. He has another year to go in Fort Smith, but he might be somebody we make another run at this time next year.

Actually those are the old Houston Oilers colors on the Bullets theme. They are the Madison Marlins. How's that for alliteration?

Ryan apparently is considering us along with the school he originally signed with out of HS, Tulsa. He's also considering North Texas, TCU and David Dees' current school.

Rivals lists him as 3-Star prospect.
