What are some of the sickest dunks against the Liberty team?? Here's a couple that I remember!
1.Liberty Vs Arizona ....Hassan Adams snatching the off- rebound in mid air out from LU's Ryan Mantlo...and in one motion without returning to earth..cocking it back and ramming it home...ANDRE IGUODALA also had a few felonious throw-downs that game
2. Liberty Vs Winthrop...2000/2001 Unnamed player from Winthrop sneaks back door at Vines Center and leaps to the moon to catch an alley-opp and finds the time turn completely around in mid-air and wave at the LU student section!...who said "white men can't jump"??
3.Liberty vs Saint Bonaventure....1998 Cyrus the Virus...any of the 10 dunks he had versus the Flames

I remember this one day in Schilling....I believe it was 1996, the basketball team was playing against that intramural dynasty (I think their name was
"The Regulators") and this white guy caught a back door alley oop right on Peter Aluma's head. It was pretty sick.
Blue Edwards had 3 of the nastiest dunks I have ever seen in any venue. But the game was down at East Carolina. Calvin Talford from East Tennessee St. kicked me in the head on an alley opp! He also had a nasty one the same night of my now (thanks to me talking about it for 17 years) famous dunk vs ETSU. Darrell Hall (not from Hall and Oats) from Chuck So also posterized me with a Jordan leaner and the worst one I experienced was vs VA Union when Vincent Price snatched a rebound out of my hands in one motion and dunked it in over my head. The next semester he transfered in since he was from Lynchburg. He would have been one of the best to ever play at LU but he never saw the court. He was incredible but he had a lot of personal issues. Zion White's dunk was nasty over GMart. The one Matt Murrer from VMI did in the regular season matchup sticks out. My memory is short on the ones I saw when I coached but I do remember Cyrus from St. Bonaventure. It was the 1st game I ever called for Men's basketball with Jerry Edwards. I do remember a kid from Fresno named Roberson that dunked so nasty we on the Liberty bench found ourselves nearly standing up and applauding. It was so spectacular. He bounced it off the ground and to the backboard then soared about 12 feet in the air and dunked it. At least that is how I remember it. Maybe GOAT or Soro can describe it better. I am confident they will remember which one I am speaking of.
