Watch it now...our tennis coach is definitely going to take us to the next level in tennis. We've already landed one girl (Jordan Jenkins) who was recruited by Georgia Tech...ranked #6 at the time and also the 2007 National Women's Tennis Champions. We will also have some changes in players on the men's side as well. Our coach is committed to taking us out of the Big South (and thus, national) cellar.

PS-I know you were kidding, but I gotta defend the man...he's a great guy and has been extremely good to me ever since I started working with him at the Hillcats 4 years ago.

Here's your big speculation from Chris...unless I missed something it is speculation on who WON'T get the job....I did not see a post guessing WHO WOULD/Could/might get it.

I would honestly be stunned if Randy Tomlin was in the mix for the head coaching job. I really think Barber will go outside the "LU family" for this hire. At least that's the impression I got from talking to him Friday. Tomlin may interview, but I just don't see him getting the job. I could be wrong, though.

I know Jerry, he is from Smithfield N.C. I will give him a call and see if he is interested.

I think LU would be more his speed.

Although in all fairness to him, the Reds front office hasn't given him much to work with.
