Whats great is we could have both.

This is so ignorant I wont even respond to it. The best??????? Thats like a kid is batting .200 but the paper names him the Player of the Year, turns out his father is the sports editor.

Heres some news LU isnt looking for a Joe Torre, and I can promise the next coach will be the face of the baseball program get involved in the community and help spread the word on how great LU is. Oh and do that minor thing of help develop athletes and have them leaving LU telling everyone how great the school is and not naming every school in DI before you recommend LU
PAMike wrote:If winning is important than you lost you best shot.
LU has won before and they will win after, in fact they have won more before than they did during. This is not a set back.
PAMike wrote: He had a proven track record and he had success at Liberty. Royer is Bill Belichick in stirrups and I can't figure out why more people aren't calling the administration to task on this situation.
Nobody should ever take away from Coach what he did before he got to LU, that was as impressive as you can get, but his personality did not work here. He will coach again and I'm sure he'll win, but I highly doubt it to take place at a Christian institution and its not because he's not a solid Christian it's because those at that school sometimes look for council and he wont be your shoulder.
and for your Bill Belichick reference you should be banned from speaking (not just on a message board) for a solid month
PAMike wrote:If Royer failed to meet LU standards for success on the diamond, then God bless his replacement. I would caution him to rent and not buy.
Again, we won before we'll win again. Our next coach (if done right and not some young up and comer) will be here for the long haul.
