yeah, a lot of cable providers still do not have versus, but their production quality is excellent and the commentators and in studio guys are just as good as ESPN had.

yeah, i watched a few games on versus when i was home in Florida for Christmas and they seemed to be doing a good job, but it doesn't help me any now

You are correct that Buffalo/Ottawa double OT game last night was classic and as a Canes fan, anytime Buffalo loses it is a good game. I am watching the Detroit/Anaheim game right now, I hope Anaheim wins it all. Should be a good finals no matter who gets in.

The reason why VS. is good is because it's basically NBC during the week...I have been watching some of the playoffs but just can't get into them as much because Carolina is not playing...

uh GMTM, no it's not. they have different tv guys in the studio other than bill clement, and the weekday game announcers have been a bit different other than doc emrick. now when it get to finals time doc emrick im sure will be the lead for one of the divisional finals. jack edwards from ESPN fame is a budding star for hockey play by play on VS.

well one part of my prediction has come true with the sens taking out buffalo...the city of losers!! anaheim get a big win on the road to go up 3-2 and can finish off the wings tuesday.

the finals finally moved to NBC last night, and it was a pretty good game though anaheim won. though this series is 3-1 in favor of the ducks it has been a really competitive series, full of finesse, physical play, dirty play, and of course don cherry coming over from CBC during the 2nd intermission. some will call me crazy or stupid, but alanis morrisette sang both anthems last night and during O' Canada, she let the crowd sing the final stanza like the edmonton fans last year, and it gave me chills. heck the crowd sang the whole anthem in unison anyway. i wish americans had the same zeal to sing our anthem like that.
