I have a feeling he is also gonna get more chances to throw some down. You guys remember how the crowd lit up when he dunked last year?

Im not sure what dunking has to do with being a better player, but it seemed like last year he was mush more intense and a bit more physical, so yeah if he keeps up his effort that he has been he'll be a much better player next year

McKay's rotation may look something like this:

1. Bannister / Stephene

2. Anderson / Jenkins

3. Smith / Anderson

4. Baker / McClean / Porter

5. McClean / Monroe

Will Vince Redd be factored in at some point? Does Campbell need time to develope? Will Armon Jones always be labeled a project or will he break-out?

Also, will Jenkins become more polished? Will Monroe really be the most improved, and if so, how good can he be? And, will Stephene and Anderson live up to expectations?

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until Nov/Dec for most of these questions to be answered. It should be interesting.

One last thing, do we have one more scholarship left to give? If we do, it may be wise to hold it at this late stage. Unless, of course, they find a diamond in the rough.

Stephene will play the 2. BJ's gonna play the 1 a lot too.

I'm not so sure that even McKay has this figured out quite yet, but it's fun to speculate.

Once again, we are leaving Justin Holland completely "out of the equation". One would think he would have seen the light by now and transferred to a D2 school.

Speculation is fun. I hope our new players like Anderson and Stephene turn out to be good enough to make an instant impact because that will mean we have upgraded, but like dox said, we will know in November/December.

To the best of my knowledge, all 13 schollies are spoken for. With 4 seniors this year, we will have that many open for 08.

If Redd has the kind of year on the gridiron we expect, I doubt he'll play hoops. Chance of getting hurt and he'll want to concentrate on preparing for NFL workouts. If the NFL scouts aren't impressed with what he does in football, he might play some bball to show off his athleticism.

The more I think about it, the more I think BJ's gonna be a combo guard. He can definitely play point, but he may help the team more at the 2. Push Smitty to the 3, Baker/Porter/McLean at the 4 and McLean/Russ at the 5.

Russ has a chance to be good in the right system. Where is Ace going to spend the summer?

According to RMc's website, both Ace and Smitty are touring overseas with Athletes in Action this summer.
