No way does UVa have a cake walk. The defending champion in there as a 3 seed. Also, a tough 2 seed.

I am planning to visit the Fayetteville regional next weekend to watch the Razorbacks play. Their facility is incredible and is a great model for anyone that is looking to build a top tier program. I dream of the day of seeing a similar facility in Lynchburg. The Razorbacks finished in the top 8 so they will also host a Super Regional. Their team took 2 of 3 games from the #1 ranked Vanderbilt during the season, but lost the SEC tournament championship to them 7-4 to finish with a 2 win, 2 loss split for the season. Both teams used inexperienced pitchers for the championship game knowing that their ultimate goal was getting to Wichita.

Careful, SumItUp, the pigs have to win their regional first.

That happened to UVA two years ago....

Coastal will have their hands full with Clemson. CU beat CCU 4-0 earlier this year. We threw David Anderson, our #5 pitcher, against them. It was 1-0 heading into the 9th, then things got crazy. Clemson's team BAvg is like in the .280s. They do have some pretty good pitching though. Their fans are already planning on making reservations to the Super Regionals (smacktalk per Rivals.com). I'd love nothing more for the Chants to beat Clemsux.

Fixing to leave work right now to go upgrade my cable service to digital :D .

Remember, I married into the Hog family. I am a casual fan and expect them to win and will lose absolutely NO sleep if they don't.

You're probably right. If I had to bet the farm, I'd bet on Liberty (hope no one from CoastalFans sees this :D ).

The 2005 game in Lynchburg was a classic. We haven't faired too well at your place (lost in '03 & it took 3 OT's to win in '05 while you guys were having a "down" year). Of course, we've only played there twice. You guys play extra tough on your home field.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait for football season!

CSTV will be covering the Arkansas regional...while ESPNU will have select games from the others. One game of interest on ESPNU is the Coastal vs VCU game. I think I am going to purchase one month of the Sports Pack on DirecTv just to watch some college baseball.

For the record, the steady diet of college action on CSTV is semi-addictive. Its sort of what ESPN was twenty years ago before they starting getting the bigtime contracts (minus the Aussie Rules Football).

Thats shocking. Thank you NCAA for being reasonable on travel costs.

I'm headed to the Rice Regional today for the Bears & Frogs this afternoon followed by the Owls & Panthers tonight. As a result I won't be online much today.

i will say it now so i do not hear it from sly...out of the seven ACC teams in the tournament, only three remain. UVA, UNC, Clemson. still a lot of baseball to be played.
5 for 5 rule Meeting
