But consider this, when 3/4 of the AD dept was let go a few years ago who was kept from that group???? Kevin Keys, there was a reason that Dr.Falwell kept him and a reason why JB has kept him because he has done a great job. You seriously think that if he was not doing his job that he would still be here... your crazy....Kevin has a very important position and given were we where two years ago he has done a great job....So yeah I am getting pretty sick and tired of you just bashing when there is no need too...

To answer the question posted earlier about ADs and basketball schedules, in general the Hoops coach controls his own schedule. For a new coach to pull out of a tourmament that means big bucks to the athletic dept, he would have to run that by the AD and get his blessing. I am confident RMK has JB's blessing on this. I know the reasoning behind pulling out from Coach McKay himself but no need to share it on this forum. Just know that he is not on a renegade mission to undo a schedule that RD put together. He is not trying to burn bridges but I understand the AA guys being upset. It is difficult to put a schedule together (I know cause I did it a few times) but it is 10 times more difficult to put a tournament together. So when you have a commitment and 5 months before the tournament a couple of teams pull out, then it makes life difficult for the tournament host. It probably costs them a few bucks in ads that may have been printed with the teams names etc. However, RMK had to consider Liberty basketball's best interest and in his judgement the decision to pull out of this thing was the right one. Hopefully AA can replace the teams that pulled out rather quickly which should ease their bitter feelings if that is the right way to describe how they must feel.

My sister and her hubby have a time-share in Maui. It's a great place for a vacation. For a basketball tournament........... not so much.
