In my four years here I've tried to be recruited into a lot of pyramids. The newest one is called MonaVie Juices. Has anyone heard of this one, and what are your thoughts? Here is the thread between me and a guy on my hall who sent me a facebook message concerning Monavie. This is pretty long, so, read if you're bored like me.
Thoughts??
Jack Jackson:TO BE CONTINUED ...
Hey, how’s it going? I have just started up in this network marketing business called Mona-Vie and I'm really excited about it. I've done some personal research on the company and tried out the product as well. The product is Mona-Vie. Mona-Vie is a vitamin-rich fruit drink that is made up of one of the best Super-foods (acai) in the world and a combination of 19 fruits all together. We're supposed to be eating one fruit a day to stay healthy. This business works like this: You buy the product to be used for marketing (4 bottles) a month and some for yourself if wanted (4 more bottles). That's 2 cases a month. Then you attempt to build legs underneath you and in return your legs will build legs under them. Very much like a pyramid. You being the top. This however is NOT a pyramid scheme. Like I said, I have researched this and talked to my dad as well about it. My dad is a doctor, specializing in heart care and works in the Cardiac unit/Intensive care unit at St. Mary's in NJ. Obviously he’s a pretty smart guy. He checked it out and not only gave me the go ahead, he recommended that I become involved and then he himself became involved. I just signed up and I am ready to go. If you are at all interested let me know. This business can bring in some serious cash. I’m hoping to be coming into some serious dough this summer....my brother, Cisco Victa P.h.D., acclaimed author and senior pastor of a church in NH just started 2 weeks ago and is now making over $200 a week. If that’s not enough evidence to prove that it is not a business for suckers, yesterday President Bill Clinton signed up! Anyways, Dr. Cisco, my brother, is hoping to be making 6 figures within a year’s time. The success and income gained is determined by how much time you put into it. It takes work, but I know your a go getter and can talk to people. And those two things are all you need to succeed in this business! If you want any more materials or info on the company let me know. Check out the link, it has a short video explaining everything in further detail.

Pyramid.
Jake Jackson:
idiot.
Will Matthews:
Anything that has language like "attempt to build legs underneath you" and "in return your legs will build legs under them" and then says "But this isn't a pyramid"... is a pyramid, idiot.
Jake Jackson:
hahahaha awh the feeble mind of Will at work again. Cute, but in a completely pathetic sense. Sounds like someone has been talking to the always pessimistic, Isaac....a sharp tongue does not assume a keen mind. Poor kid doesn't know the meaning of the word opportunity; then again he doesn't know the meaning of most words. It's one thing to not be interested, it's entirely something else to shoot down someone else. Might want to write that down. Welp, just so you know, I don't think you're a fool Will. But then again, what's my opinion compared to hundreds of others.
P.s. My brother has his P.h.D. and he was the Val Victorian of his COLLEGE. Bill Clinton was the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. But chances are, you're right and they're wrong. Oh and uh...by the way, Pyramid schemes are a federal offense so if this was one, it couldn't exist haha...ttyl chief

Jake im in mona-vie already... I raked about 27 hundred in a good four months major part time... Im mostly in ACN. My dad does the mona-vie business for me an he got me that little card that lets me eat free everywhere. Anyway dont spend ur time refuting the broke ppl telling you that its a scam. Jus make the money an laugh at the opprotunity they missed. Lets jus say ACN paid 4 my car an people told me it was a pyramid scam... LAMES! Dont let broke ppl tell you how to get rich... U wouldn't ask a fat kid about how to lose weight.
Will Matthews:
Feeble mind of Jake. I haven't talked to Isaac, it's common sense. I've been here four years and have been attempted to be recruited numerous times. Where are these people months down the road who said it wasn't a scam? Losing money off of this crap. Not all pyramids are illegal, including this, which is classified as an MLM pyramid. And there is no legit proof Clinton is in this (why would he be?? He's the former President, he pretty much get what he wants and for free), and just because you're brother is a doctor doesn't mean anything; I know a lot of doctors who aren't in this.

Jake Jackson:
These links are from people like you. They make these low-budget sites that you are using in an attempt to discredit Mona-Vie. They’re all bias.
Read "your" links...According to these links it's labeled "MLM Marketing." I’m not even sure I know what that is, but I know it's not the same as MLM Pyramid or whatever you were claiming it to be.
I could include many links (from more credible sources), that would be pro-network marketing. It means nothing.
Having a president in your business says something to me. I would consider being the president of the world's superpower a success story. This is, by the way, documented that he is a Mona-Vie distributor. If I started a business I wouldn't mind having Hilary (not even a president) involved in my company. I might disagree with her on almost every political issue but she's more of a success than me...she's not a total moron; she's made some good decisions or she wouldn’t be where she is today! lol. Oh well, I don't expect you to be excited about something you’re already close-minded towards.
I don't know what people have been trying to sell you for 4 years. Mona-Vie is a 2 year old company. As the video says, there are 1 star hotels, and then there are 5 star resorts. I know about some others that are out there that tried recruiting me. As I said before, I researched before I joined.
Obviously there are a lot of doctors that are not in Mona Vie. What that proves, I don’t know?? However, my point was that my brother had to go through 4 more years of school than you have and on a higher level. A P.h.D. is not a small accomplishment. Not only that, but he excelled to the point of being the Val Victorian and president of his class. He’s on his 3rd book being published. (Look it up. Amazon.com). The point is he’s no sucker. If I had to decide on business advice from you or him, I would let the history do the talking.
Robert Kiyosaki, author of “rich dad, poor dad” (another success story; He’s written 18 books and sold over 26 million copies) has said how he not only agrees with the principles of network marketing but he condones them. Oh yeah, he’s also a financial expert advisor on yahoo.com.
Donald Trump, one of the richest men on the planet, you may have heard of him, also condones network marketing.
You may have heard this story before, but over the summer of 1998 Donald Trump made an appearance on the David Letterman show. David Letterman asked him what he would do if he lost everything and had to start over from scratch.
Without hesitating, Trump said he would find a good Network Marketing Company and get to work.
The audience started to shout and boo him (Will was there, lol just kidding). He looked out at the audience and his dead-pan response was - "That's why I'm sitting up here and you are all sitting out there!"
With Network Marketing, you don't just get paid ONCE from how hard and how long you work now, but you also earn money from work you did weeks, months, or even years ago.
Imagine, working 40 hours this week and not only getting paid for that, but also getting that same money every week for the rest of your life. The key to a Work-At-Home Network Marketing business is the 'work' part.
If you're willing to get to work, to give it a real blast, over the next 2 or 3 years, then you could realistically replace your full time income.
The harder you work over the next 2, 3 or 4 years will determine how much money you make with your Network Marketing business for the rest of your life. Simply amazing.
Lastly, I appreciate your concern but you don’t have to worry about me losing money. It's a 39 dollar investment. If I made nothing, which is already impossible, what's 39 bucks? Dinner. lol. Well worth the "risk." What other business can you start with 39 dollars??? Opening a pizza place would cost hundreds of thousands at least.
But set your mind at ease, network marketing is not for everyone. Some people just don't have what it takes. Some people aren't motivated enough. It's not a bad thing. It's just a matter of priority. Some people would rather work a 9 to 5 and they would be happy with that. It's not a bad thing, just preference.
Thanks for listening. You actually helped me to realize what a great thing I’ve gotten into.
Josh Rieke:
Jake it sounds like you need to get a real man's job. I hope college hasn't just taught you that you need to work 40 hours a week on a Pyramid-like network. Look, I hope you make some money in this, but have at least an ounce of skepticism that you might not get rich all that soon off this. just a thought...good luck
Will Matthews:
This is over Jake. You're a complete idiot with no good arguments. I'll come back and visit next semester while working a full time, paying job and I'll ask you how the MonaVie business is doing and we'll see where you're at.
