3-5 I think. It a really good deal, except I'm always at work during those hours. By the way, Dr. Pepper w/ Vanilla in it is the best thing they have there. Strawberry limeaide is good, cherry is better.

I've been onto their Cherry Limeades since I arrived in Texas back in '90. I love their strawberry fresh fruit slushes as well thanks in large part to that much discussed ice.

On a related note, I absolutely despise their current ad campaigns with the two knuckleheads (no offense to our namesake poster) in the car or the husband/wife spots where the husband brings shame on men everywhere. This campaign had to be designed by women. No self-respecting man would have anything to do with this concept. Although I can't blame actors for collecting a SAG national paycheck. A man has to eat.

they had one funny one where he blocked the tot from the other guy's mouth. And he goes "get that weak tot action out of here" or something like that. But yes, generally those are terrible. And they're like in a mini-van. What's the deal with that?

there are so many of those commercials with them in the mini-van... the percentage of good ones is LOW.

pbow, chocolate dr. pepper?!?! wow... i almost get sick just thinking about that. maybe if i'm feelin VERY brave sometime, and i have money, i'll try one.

Diet Cherry Limeades for me. At 2am, usually. Late at night Sonic will take call-ahead orders. I call it in from North Campus, swing by Demoss to drop something off and then hit the drive through just as my food is ready. It's a beautiful thing.

Really? I could have sworn that it was a Jeep Compass.

(just kidding, SJ)

You know, I say that like I don't pay for everything when I go out to eat with somebody who's a female. My daddy taught me to at least offer to pay, then if she says no, offer again, and if she says no again let her pay.

yea, i'm with u on that one. if it's just me and a girl, i just about always offer to pay.

the line between goin out with a friend that's a female, and goin on a date is fiiiiine.

I just saw this and laughed.

I saw a Jeep Patriot on the road for the first time and about cried. I would've loved to have one of those but wasn't in a position to wait three months.

Whataburger offers up the best taquitos of the chains for breakfast here in Texas. But no chain touch real taquerias except for possibly Arandas (and its just available in a few Texas cities).

Sly, the first breakfast meal after my wedding night in 1986 was a burger from Whataburger in El Paso.

Thankfully, I married a Texan, so Whataburger always has a special place in her heart. I've heard Texans say that the closest burger to Whataburger in Virginia is the Sonic burger. Anyone else ever draw a similar burger comparison?
