Hey, no one thinks there are ANY institutions of higher learning in WV, so just be happy they acknowledge there is a university, no matter what they call it.

At least they call it a university. We're still Liberty Baptist College in a lot of the articles I read.

To some extent you have a point there, Flameshaw, but please remember that Marshall University was founded in 1833, so it was a Virginia college before WV ever became a state (Go Herd!).

Bill Oreilly yesterday talking about Virginia tech said another University, Virginia Polytechnic University, was deeply grieved or something. DOnt remember what exactly he said cuz i was laughing at the slip of the name.

I know this is getting off topic...but I was in a hospital cafeteria watching the news on CNN during March Madness this year...and one of the news anchors (not sports) had to say something about the tournament, and he said, "...in the first round of the NAACP basketball tournament", instead of saying NCAA.

I didn't want to start a new thread just to say those folks over on the Coastal board are a little dillusional. So I'll just use this one.

I think the early taste of success has altered their logic. I've been keeping up with their board and apparently losing all of those seniors was a good thing and they'll be even better

Thats because we have no shame!!! We don't try to hide anything....sometimes thats good and sometimes thats bad....but they can have their fun, its fine....they are Coastal FANS....are they suppose to think they are going to suck??? They aren't going to suck....they just won't be as good as last year....

They have the quickest trigger of any board I've ever seen. Even if one of their own even says something slightly negative, they either get banned or shouted down.
