I shall try. I'm coaching a 5th grade soccer team at the YMCA in wynhusrt at 1:15 with some of the girls soccer players so hopefully i'll make it to the tailgate before I have to go set up the camera. should be a fun game. I heard from Dan (the punter) its not gonna be scripted this year. true?

I actually just started this semester. I was working in the basketball office for my Practicum but i was transfered to the football department with RD leaving. so now I'm with the football department and i'll be working with them all year. can't wait to go to all th games with the team. hopefully i'll see you all at the tailgate. so i think if we park friday night to hold the spot we will get a ticket. I have a freshman tag, and i'm not sure who's allowed to park there, but i'm pretty sure i'm not. and LUPD likes to write tickets so much that i will probably have at least 3 by saturday morning

Do they give tickets for upper P1 during the weekend? Upper P1 is a lot that NOBODY parks in.

they give tickets for anything and everything. they have nothing to do at night but write tickets and drive around

I don't think it counts on the weekends. If it did, all of the kids that live on the hill and park in Lower P1 would have a ticket every weekend and they never do. You can also park in staff spots, etc. You should be fine.


And if you get a ticket, I'm sure it could be taken care of.

Be thankful that's all they have to do. Them "driving around at night" (or patrolling as most police departments call it) is a very good thing.

As for tickets, well, if they have to write tickets to stay awake, well then I can't blame them. You have to do something. And if people are parked illegally anyway...

add to the fact that these guys are probably making less than 20 bucks an hour for that aggrevation. Being a cop is tough enough- let alone on a college campus where you are "the man"
