great report- I'm hearing much the same as well.

still a question about the tight ends, and a bit concerned about the secondary. (other than RG!)

seemed like we let a lot develop in that area last year. :?

i watched some of the practice on saturday too and the passing game looks a lot more crisp than in years past. That is the main thing that i noticed saturday.

God forbid we loose a game this year due to a poor kicking game.

Zack Kolegue (sp?) is his name. Hopefully he is improved, and if not we will just have to be better than the teams we play.

evidently the kid who RS last year is decent as well.

either that or I'm totally confused and have my off-board conversations mixed up again.

I can't take much more anxiety from the kicker. After scarfing some of those dogs down at the tailgate only to watch our kicker boot the game away gave me some serious indegestion.

Actually the kicker that booted the William and Mary game away is graduated (Ben Beasly). Unfortunately Zach ain't much better than Ben unless of course he is improving like you all have been saying.

They're generally not full-contact. At the end of some practices, the team may go "live" and go full-contact but they're not allowed to sack the quarterback.

And can i just say how exciting it is to hear this.....If Rashad, and Terrell can get some big holes to run through we are going to see some brusing hits and some shake and bake in the secondary.

On the standout of the day
“Our offensive line was today’s standout. They are a big, physical and deep group. We have six, seven and eight guys that are ready to go in the game for those five positions. Last year at this time I didn’t know if we had three guys who could go in and win with. This year we have more guys that can play and win with. They had a good physical day and did a nice job of pass protection in the two minute offense.”

I see our kicking game is already in mid-season form:
• Liberty’s coaching staff had planned to run several field goal situation drills as the last session of the evening practice; however, the practice was cut short after the field goal unit had a 37-yard attempt blocked on what would prove to be the final play of the evening.
and some love our way:
• The crowd included several future Flame fans
