Back on topic...

I just got the HD connection through my DirecTV today and all I can say is...

With simple indoor rabbit ear's for $38 from WalMart, I am able to pick up the over-the-air HD channels, except for channel 10. That means...
...MASTERS IN HD. FWIW, the 7.1 signal gives a much better picture than the DirecTV channel 74 that is also showing the USA Network feed in HD. I also got the SuperFan pack for the MLB package so I can see some of those games in HD. When my wife can tell a big difference, that is huge.

An interesting note for CBS...while regular channel 7 was showing Ellen i think at 4 on Thursday and Friday, 7.1 ( Cbs in HD) was showing the masters. Boy was that a nice site to come home to after a long day. Can i also just applaud only 4 minutes of commericals per HOUR! LOVE IT!

But you can actually see the unique shape of each individual snowflake when watching in HD in Lynchburg...
