It was good hearing Coach McKay speak for a few minutes this afternoon.

At the press conference, he made a GM joke, and then he opens the Flames Club luncheon with a Radford joke: he really seems like he is fitting in well. About recruits, Coach McKay said Jason Campbell is still coming (I hope I have the name right), but he said the jury was still out (my words) on the 7' Nigerian, but he said had a "contingency plan" just in case he didn't come here. Coach also mentioned that he got one verbal commitment this week, and he had 2 players visting campus this week, including one today.

The only bad part about the whole meeting was the meal--ham, mac & cheese, and fried apples. Where's the vegetables?

:offtopic Not a big fan of mac & cheese, but everything else was good. Some sweet potatoes would have been nice, though.

Thanks, Critic. With my memory, I'm surprised that I even got the last name right. In any event, Mr. Campbell is still coming.

:offtopic Lib, what's their slogan? "If it's Campbell's, it's got to be good." I hope what applies to soup is also applicable to basketball players. Play Basketball
