I wish I could change my vote from Cooper to McKay. The more I think about it, the more I tend to believe he would be the best fit.

I think you really want someone who WANTS to come here and coach...as opposed to someone who would just use this as a couple of years.

I just get the feeling from what I'm reading that Cooper didn't seem to be overly excited about the LU job. I'm guessing that McKay came and wants the job. I think you work harder when you want it.

As far as NM, if you look, they do play some pretty good competition, and McKay has some nice wins. I think the situation with the recruiting one year was due to pressure to win at all costs. Sometimes we make mistakes...I tend to think he has learned his lesson. I think he can win at LU, and he appears to be an outspoken Christian, which would also make him a great fit, for a house with a pool.

As far as Cooper...he is an assistant at Auborn. Remember back in the day, when Hankinson came, he was an assistant at WVU, when WVU was getting good. We don't know how well Cooper will transition. McKay has already won as the head guy.

I couldn't agree more...I think he is good for this team..and he has been in a position at larger schools so as we grow as a school he will grow along with it and understand what big school are all about....

Where is this link...I cannot find it? Is it on the frontpage of Libertyflames.com, or do I have to go to the basketball section. I just see an article on Brewington, I don't see a link to a press conference. I will try to be on my computer at 9 on Monday...I hope the link is there then.
