most soccer players w/ a leg on them at least have the ability to be a decent p/k

maybe I'm biased.

Or maybe you just have constant reminders about the soccer player from Easton who hit a game winner for BC

I keep thinking about "The Replacements" with FUTBOL kickers.

The kid may be good, however, I sincerely doubt he is three times as good as Sebastian Barrie was during his time there.

Or Rodney DeGrate either. Rodney and Sebastian Barre were the best linemen I have ever seen playing for LU. They had a knack for making big plays.

Jason, Robbie or Joe?

That's gotta be one of you! :D Especially with the love shown to Hud.

Yeah but Ol' Hud could play that guitar like nobody's business. How about Kent Nesselrote? No love for the Florida guys! Thought I might even see a Johnny White reference.

Blake and Kent were DTs/DEs. I know Kent lived in the 'Burg the last time I did, but that's been several years now.

David Barnes was another Fla guy, but he sold out and went to the O Line, then he left for good.

The late 80's and early 90's were filled with Florida guys on the football team. Probably why we were so good. :D

I was the RA for those FL boys during their freshman year. Hud put me to sleep many a night playin his guitar. There was one lineman on the floor from VA Beach I think that left school early and then died from a construction accident. Can't remember his name though.

His name was Mark Baker. He was my roomate my senior year. Coach Sam made me move back on campus because I got into some minor "trouble" my first three years off campus.

Baker was a great guy!

I used to get so pi§§ed off at Coach Sam during home games because he would have Mark carry his headphone cords in full uniform. I figured if a guy worked hard during the week practicing, he should be able to be a part of the team, not a cord carrier.

Mark wasn't the most gifted football player, nor was he the right size for the college game, especially as an offensive lineman. However, if all players today had his heart and work ethic, the game of football would be even better than it is today.
