I'm expecting a win, but probably not covering spread, simply because we pull back once established.

LU (-28) 41
GW 17

I love this matchup to test the 2 areas of doubt i still have in the LU defense. Since GW chucks it nearly 70% of snaps:
1. Can we prove a legitimate pass rush?
2. Have we improved in the secondary / covering the boundaries?
Also...
3. Are we physical at the point of contact? Our Back end showed some flashes of closing speed and wanting to hit against JMU. I want to see much more of that!

LU - 38 (Hope I am way off!)
GW - 17

Oh yeah, LU is playing one of the bottom feeders of FCS football OVC foe in Gardner-Webb, so naturally the LU Armchair Coaching Association is out in full force trying to find some sort of evidence that this proves we should have confidence in our current HC. Save us the analysis. This game should be nothing more than a blowout, especially when you consider the resources, facilities, and advantages LU has compared to Gardner-Webb. If LU struggles with this one, then I guess we’ll really get to see how creative the excuse department can be. Study :football :BS :football
