80% of tickets to the Seattle region were either sold or held for schools, that make that regional, before selection Sunday. There are currently less then 500 seats open. Where will all the Oregon fans get their tickets?

Not saying there will be more Liberty fans, but just saying it won't be home game for them.

If anyone makes the trip to Seattle, take me advice and do NOT get a rental car. Parking is beyond brutal in Downtown Seattle. And you can take light rail from the SeaTac airport all the way into downtown. You can even take the Monrail from Westlake Station over to within a block or two of the arena.

If you are looking at lodging, the worst of cruise season has not kicked in so you can expect $160-225/nt for most affordable hotels. I was booked at the Hyatt Place on 6th Avenue North for $170/nt until I had to cancel less than 48 hours before the Flames were assigned to Climate Pledge Arena.

You can expoect Ducks fans to take the train up from Oregon. Gorgeous rail experience.

If anyone would like I can offer up dining recommendations. I have eaten at nearly everywhere in Seattle proper. It is one of my favorite cities to dine. But bring a hefty waller. Seattle has the highest cost of living in America and it is reflected in the dining options as well.

I don’t think the crowd will be much of an issue. I’m sure there will be a decent amount of Oregon fans as well as Arizona fans. Grand Canyon will probably travel decent as well. The average local fan that is coming out just to enjoy basketball will more than likely pull for Liberty/against Oregon as will the high majority of the other 6 teams’ fans.

The travel difference could be more of an issue but our team has already traveled to Seattle this year and a total of 20k+ miles and played in 5 different time zones. They should be well prepared and know what to expect.

I have faith in our defense, so long as the refs actually allow us to play it. The 2nd half against Jax St. was full of ridiculously silly calls. Oregon is going to do what other teams have done and that is drive the ball to the basket and try to get the ball to their big. Little do their fans know, we have experience with good 7'0" dudes this year between Batcho and Mustafa. Apparently, Bittle can also be a threat from behind the arc, so that will stretch us a bit more.

On offense, it all will hinge on our ability to get open shots from behind the arc. Peter and Metheny are playing with a lot of confidence. Porter too. If that continues, I like our chances.

Didn’t Liberty beat MSU in California 2019 NCAAs? Crowd got pretty loud when Liberty staged the late comeback. And didn’t they lose the next one to another VA team in CA?
Reality.
To say this is not a clear advantage to the Ducks is a HUGE "positive spin"
Not the worst approach to take, but I personally am a fan of reality.

As far as your post about it being a 5-6 hour flight, that is true. It is also a 900 plus dollar flight (economy class, round trip) PER PERSON, plus at least 2 nights lodging and car rental or Uber. A group of Oregon students or local fans can pile in the car Friday morning, be there well in advance of the game, drive back after and be in their own bed by 3 or 4 AM for the cost of a couple of tanks of gasoline. A charter bus would be cheaper yet.
Another opinion from a LU Armchair coach.

Not sure why it has to be this way with some of these guys. But try to not let it get to ya. If it’s any consolation, the loudest critics often lack the most in understanding.

Passes that were completed against Jax State are getting deflected against the Ducks. Porter and Metheny are getting rushed by O’s pressure.

It’s just a bad matchup for us. Why I wanted Clemson.
