I still believe that Cleveland should not be playing at the last 10 minutes of the game. He is a liability with free throws. He is absolutely ridiculous.

Against a team which is pretty much a .500 ball club. We got lucky. Cleveland will continue to be a liability in the end.

He leads us in rebounding and assists, and can guard 4 positions. On a team which only really has a 6 man rotation, you can't bench one of them for extended minutes because he is a poor FT shooter, especially when you have 2 others in your rotation who have not been much better. McKay is in fact subbing him out in strategic situations, which is smart, but the last 10 minutes of a game?

I continue to shake my head at how someone can look back at a win like this one and have only negative things to say.
BTW, JSU lost to Sam last night (first place losing to last place), and we are now only one game out of first.

We are now at 20 wins against what will end up being the toughest schedule in program history with one of our better players out for the season. I don’t understand all of the doom and gloom. Things are looking up for this program.

We got lucky? We dominated them for 30 minutes of the game, had a bad 10 minutes, but we were able to overcome that. This team is really good and playing well. Enjoy the journey. We’ve got a chance to do something special.

Great 2nd half, great win!
We are spoiled with the level of discipline this team plays with, consistently. If you are like me, i watch more LU hoops than any other and as a result my purview is eschewed. We clearly have some soft spots (height, FT shooting from our bigs, rebounding and quality depth). However, this teams plays with confidence and integrity. We make up for size disparity with help side rotations on Defense. We are tough to defend with guards that stretch the floor and guards that can drive and kick it out.
Would be great to win the regular season but our only hope of playing in the dance is winning in Hoover. That will be a fun tournament with this conference!
