Bradford is injured. Hampton is there but already committed to Gardner-Webb.

This might be all we get.

Do any of the other players have youth QB experience? Eesh, this is bad.

I'm happy to report we do have 96 yards of offense at the half so I do feel good about breaking the century mark. I am however very worried about the shutout.

With all that being said we inexplicably have a chance to win this game.

This is what happens when your key players have no sense of commitment to the school. Liberty picks up kids who get overlooked by bigger schools and gives them a shot - and then those kids leave Liberty high and dry. They buy in right up until they sell out.

Their 1st team defense is doing a number on our 2nd/3rd team offense. The offensive line is a sieve. No time for Burger, the pitchout, as they are loading the box and knocking our guys backwards on most every play. They had 8 tackles for loss in the 1st half!!

Looks like he is running in mud.
It might not be mud but on TV it looks like they are playing on a giant beach volleyball court with a thin layer of grass on top.

Put a WR at QB, and run Wildcat formation. I recall someone doing that in a bowl game 2 or 3 years ago. And won game.

Had a couple of nice runs before the fumble.

This is almost comical.
It genuinely looks like the majority of our offense has never played football before.

Hats off to the defense, I guess. It feels like they've been on the field 90% of the game, and playing on sand at that. Red zone defense was solid.

I'll happily forget this one and never think of it again.

I agree, even with the everything going on the staff had a month to prepare something that looked like an offense and weren’t even close to doing so.

Pretty clear that we should have never accepted the bowl invite. We’ve been a team in disarray for several months. I’m not sure what was accomplished with this debacle but hopefully someone got a nice suntan or windburn.

I'm not going to overthink this game. We had backups in at most positions against a good Buffalo teams starters. We can complain about game planning but as someone once said "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." If the o line is completely overwhelmed in the run game and the quarterback can't even get the ball within arms reach of the receivers there's not much left a coach can do other than go out and recruit.

He came up limping from a tackle early on and seemed to be heading to the tent. The broadcast never really revisited it.
