If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

Nahh he's find according to some folks in here...They're not been called "little bro state" for the past couple seasons for no reason.

There's no obvious upgrade available so they'll keep riding it out with their current coach hoping they break through. The last thing anyone wants is a Nebraska situation where they fire the good but not great coach then become irrelevant.
Michigan fans will probably chip in for an extension for him

The ire of the fan base is justified, especially after yesterday. But he's 33-1 against non-Michigan conferences foes. I'm with you here; who are they bringing in to improve on that? And is it worth a $40 million buyout?

I do think James Franklin has slightly less of a case, though.

No one benefits more from the expanded CFP and lack of divisions more than James Franklin. He used to go 7-2 every year in conference play with both losses being to Ohio St and Michigan. Now that he doesn't have to play them both every year he should have them in the playoffs most years. I don't think you should expect much more than that if you're Penn state, especially if he wins the occasional first round game.

I personally think West Virginia is a decent job.
I wonder if they would consider bringing Rich Rod home. Maybe it’s just been too long or those bridges have been burned or maybe both.

WVU would prefer to have an actual person. Not this mythical person you bring up. My concern is that Jimbo will be their choice. I’d prefer Mullen if going that type of route
Garrett Riley and Tony Gibson are intriguing hires
Chadwell has been mentioned but I’m not sure he could handle the level of scrutiny and expectations
My dark horse…. Kingsbury

To me Mullen and UNC seem like a great match. Don’t really know why but it seems that way.

Kingsbury is really interesting. With the success of the Washington offense this year I don’t think he’ll be there too long. The question is it another shot in the NFL or college. With how he’s handled Jayden I would assume people in Chicago have noticed and might be thinking he could help Caleb Williams since they have very similar skill sets.

Also, Jimbo owes a lot to Winston. Winston has made that man tens of millions. Outside of Winston what exactly has Jimbo done? So if I was a WVU fan I would also have your apprehension there.

I really don’t know the other guys so I don’t have much to say.

At a minimum Jimbo owes Winston a lifetime supply of crab legs. It’s the least he could do.

It'll be interesting to see what caliber of coach purdue can get. Jeff Brohm took over a disaster, made them respectable then Ryan Walter's came in and immediately made them a disaster again. That might be one of the worst P4 jobs right now.

Scott Frost is going back to UCF. Maybe he can win another “National Championship” there.

I think that’s a great hire. He’s had success there and didn’t burn bridges on the way out of town

Honestly it's a better hire than I expected from them. Odom is a solid coach and I think he would've had more success at mizzou if NIL was a thing during his tenure.

I find this hard to believe.
Bill Belichick is expected to accept the HC position at the University of North Carolina if it is offered to him .

Would be the worst coaching hire of all time... Like him as a x and o's coach, but no way he navigates recruiting and NIL.

ESPN is reporting that Rich Rod is in fact headed back to WVU. How we feeling about this PH?

I need to find a Safe Space to process my emotions. When he starts winning Big XII Championships I will of course credit the awesomeness and Solomonesque wisdom of such a hire! He could be the RMK of WVU!
Plus he’s better than Jimbo so I’ll take what I can get

As someone who despises the Tarholes, I am thrilled to see Billy Bob come to Chapel Hill. He isn't ready for them and they aren't ready for him. Great move. Almost as good as Jerry Jones being the real coach of the Cowgirls.

Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson resigns. The stupid NCAA leadership claims another good coach. Time to eliminate transfer portal and the buying of players.
