Personally, I hope we don't go to a bowl game. With Salter hurt, we don't have a legitimate chance to beat a decent team. In addition, the bowls have lost a lot of their luster because a lot of players opt out. (Thanks to NIL and players leaving early for the NFL, for ruining college football).
If Salter had been 100%, we would have won this game by at least 2-3 scores. Only to have to play JaxState for a conference title that means very little.
I do not like that we are in the CUSA, but we really don't deserve much more than that. We are still light years away from competing with the big boys (think Oregon last year).
Anyone thinking Chadwell is the problem doesn't know a football from a shot put. Thankful he is at LU. KSalt has been an enigma all year. Don't think we will miss him much next year. Glad for what he did during his stay at LU. Not sure our whole team doesn't need a 400 level chemistry class.

Turning down a bowl game would be a terrible idea. Thats 2-4 weeks of extra practice for the young guys that normally don't get many reps during the regular season which is roughly the equivalent of an extra spring practice. The result of the game don't really matter, personally I'd rather we throw the younger guys out there to get a preview of next year.

Salter didn't have the targets he had last year. He's an outstanding player. Trying out at the next level, I hope he truns some heads. I still support Jamie 100%. Next year its his team, year 3. I hope he can get off to better starts and not play from behind all the time. Also hope he can keep players focused and hungry in all 12 games.

I still hate playing midweek in October. Only a few thousand conf fans watch. And I'm sure it hurts season ticket sales. I guess some conf member need the TV money. Just me.

Which one? There are Co Defensive Coordinators.
Both of the DC. The team needs a new philosophy. That means putting in a new DC. They need a different defensive approach next year. Also, for those undisciplined players that continued to commit penalties. Either they get better or replace them. They were killing the team this year.

Yeah turning down a Bowl Invite would be next level stupid. However, based on some of the stupid decisions the players and coaches made this year it seems it would be an On Brand move :D
