I think we likely beat UMass and MTSU. But with that being said the thoughts of no bowl eligibility are starting to creep into my head.
Like I said right now I feel like we probably win both of those games but we’ve proved we just aren’t that good and we can lose to anybody.
Although very unlikely at this point I think there’s certainly a chance we miss a bowl for the first time in program history.

Hard fought game last night. We get the 4th and 1, continue the drive, score a TD late and probably get the win.

With 3 regular receivers out I'm surprised we hung in till the end. Everyone played hard. With regulars out, timing was off on most passes and nothing deep came close. Glad to see we cut down on penalties.

Just a quick reminder that the rest of the '24 LU football schedule has not been canceled!
In fact, there is a game scheduled for tonight on the mountain against a formidable opponent. Also contrary to the somber, defeatists mentality that is all over social media, the Flames have not lost any of their year end goals with the loss last week. LU had a 0.001% chance of getting a spot at the CFP had they won out with the resume that would have been presented.

I truly believe last weeks loss is a good thing and will rev up the engine of this team. It was a better to lose to a KSU team out of conference contention than a loss to JSU or WKU.

I think he received an unsportsmanlike conduct for it. Strange indeed.

Missing top receivers or not, I thought Salter's throw were, for the most part, lackluster at best. I think he needs a re-adjustment in several areas of his game/life. I don't see any passion or excitement in his demeanor at all.

Agreed, He seems like a different player this year. Interestingly enough, he might have played his way out of a potential chance to be a late round draft pick. Because of that, I would guess he will utilize his last year of eligibility transferring after the season. Something is definitely off this year.

Salter's throws have often been short and at receivers feet. Not sure if something is off on his mechanics but it's clearly not good enough. Salter's body language all season has kinda been as if he were going through warm ups. Cam Ward plays like that at Miami but he delivers. Can't act all cool and then be average.

Not sure who else caught this but in the B-Roll footage that was played on the CBSSN broadcast, there is a zoom in of Salter warming up, throwing with helmet on. Someone comes into partial view of the camera and they do some type of personal greeting. Salter makes a gesture where he "grabs" something from the person with his thumb and index finger, places his fingers next to his mouth and then lifts them in the air in an apparent pursing of the lips. This is mimicked by the unidentified other person, simultaneously. I immediately thought it was a bad look but just ignored it. Went back and reviewed the footage and... man is it a bad look. He either is a big fan of pixy sticks, on Halloween eve or he is still haunted by other demons.

I’ve been watching RPO’s and Spread Option since 2005. I’ve never seen a QB make so many misreads as this year. Marked loss of focus at the mesh point. It was brutal sometimes last night. He’s gonna get Cooley killed one of these times.
