I just don't get why two teams who have the same bye week cannot get together for a game. I don't care if we have Kennesaw St the following Wed - they are the worst. team in FBS football.

I saw an App State poster today saying their football stadium was fine. I'm not saying now is the time, but when App starts playing football, we do have to ask why they were willing to move other games but not. our game, if that was the case.
Liberty has an away game on the 23rd. Not sure I’d want to play a game on the 19th. Not football at least.
We don’t have to ask App anything other than ‘What can we do to help?’ Pressuring them or trying to shame them into rescheduling a game is the absolute wrong thing to do
An away game vs the worst team in FBS football. We should be able to win that game with some backups. Not having App on the schedule kills any chance of the playoff.

I'm not saying pressure App, but if App plays Marshall this week and then a home game the next week, it's going to look really bad for App like they did indeed, duck us.

Have you followed our history against some of the worst teams in football on the road?

"Liberty is saying" and "App is saying" doesn't mean much. Who is doing the talking? I highly doubt that the actual people in authority made statements that directly contradict each other, which would mean one of them is lying. I do find it hard to believe that we would let a short week prior to the KSU game stand in the way of this happening.

How, exactly, is that gonna make App look bad?

Liberty certainly does. Appy certainly does not. They have to get their people taken care of. Then, if they play football what it’s gonna look like, then take care of their Conference Schedule. Accommodating LU isn’t even on their list of Top 5 things right now.

I don't like the sissy blues. They're ugly and not a Liberty color. They should be banned as well.
Wish the third color was yellow or gold.
I’m on record being 100% supportive of throw back Green uniforms !

I’m just going to say this - go help somebody. The need is tremendous and is right in front of us.

Anybody who lives in or near the impacted areas of FL/GA/SC/NC/TN/VA and went to church yesterday hopefully had opportunities to serve presented to them. Even if you didn’t, those in need are not hard to find. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen this widespread of a destruction trail.

Do you know how many alumni, parents, etc live in the impacted regions? (a lot).

Heck NO. I hate those sissy blues. And were we too cheap to put stripes or a pattern on the new uniforms, like we're too cheap to launch actual fireworks like we used to?

I think Appy's on the road for the next 2 weeks. So in theory there shouldn't be an obvious reason not to reschedule. But who knows what's really going on down there, but after seeing more footage of how bad NW NC is, I don't really care if Appy reschedules this game anymore. I just hope folks and things are slowly getting better down there. If we're not able to schedule another FBS game, we'll just have to hope that the other G5 champs lose at least 3 games now.

This was my first thought when I read this. I'm curious if a agreement with the CFP committee could be reached ahead of time that allows the winner to automatically receive the #12 seed assuming the conditions previously mentioned.

I believe the agreement that Army and Navy made with the AAC was that the Army-Navy game would be a non-conference game that would have no bearing on the AAC championship. I believe that was done in order to keep the week that the game is played.
