JD Vance has an incredible back story. He’s gonna resonate with the Rust Belt. He will be well received in PA MI and maybe WI. OH and FL seem locked up so hopefully he can tilt the scales enough to pick up another State or Two. It’s a tad concerning he’s only been a Senator for about 27 minutes but not a game breaker. Really sets up an interesting 2028 race

The more I see and hear about the shooting, the more I think there was more than 1 person was involved. At any rate the Secret Service did a very poor job with site security. I've seen better security at Williams Stadium.

I just read authorities obtained intelligence from a human source in recent weeks of a plot by Iran to try and assassinate him. I think Mike Pompano has a threat on him as well.

Trump seemed different yesterday. Made me wonder if he had a come to Jesus moment when he survived.

Of course they are going to make Iran a bogeyman. There are always ‘credible threats’ against high level Politicians. Iran is a country we all believe would do something like that. So why not distract from the first attempt by saying there’s a possibility of a second?

This.

1. Gross incompetence or 2. Intentional negligence
There are no other scenarios. Our 3 letter agencies excuses and slow drip of facts makes it only reasonable this was a shot called from the inside.
>shooter was a Lone wolf...before the phone was unlocked to see correspondence??
>Building was the Local Police's area, outside of the scope for SS...well it was SS job but, those danged slopped roofs.
>He slipped past our patrol...SS agents took a picture of the creep 30 minutes prior.
>He went undetected...the counter snipers had him in their sights 47 seconds before the first shot was taken. Allowed him to take multiple shots before neutralizing + all the ground eye witnesses
>Often isn't shared communication channel between SS and local officers...Local police claim SS was notified, there was shared coms
>100 hours later and no one has been relieved of their duties for gross incompetence...so it must be....yup.

Now state out loud what we are told to believe and try not to sound like the conspiracy theorist.

Not to throw fuel on the “conspiracy” fire, but a private equity firm called Austin Private Wealth LLC (based in TX) bought a massive amount of puts against $DJT (Trump media stock) AND Rumble (Trump connected YouTube competitor) exactly ONE DAY before the attempt on his life. When you do some digging on the firms connections, BlackRock and Soros are some of the names you find. Thomas Crooks (the assassin) has a connection to BlackRock as he appeared in a commercial for them. Austin Wealth released a statement saying their large bet against those two stocks were the result of a glitch and shouldn’t have been made. This stinks to me…

This is the best, most condensed breakdown of the timeline I have seen. Unfathomable to reason that this was not intentional negligence or worse.

https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1813919273548763506

For those without X ( I commend you!):

Thomas Crooks was shot dead 26 seconds after he let off his first shot on Donald Trump at his rally.

The details which were made during a briefing with the FBI, say sn*pers first spotted Crooks on *the roof* at 5:52 p.m., 20 minutes before the first shot.

11 seconds after the first shot which happened at 6:12 p.m., sn*pers located Crooks.

15 seconds later, Crooks was shot dead according to ABC News.

Timeline:

5:10 p.m. Crooks first identified as a person of interest.

5:30 p.m. Crooks spotted with a rangefinder.

5:52 p.m. Crooks spotted on the roof by USSS.

6:02 p.m. Trump takes the stage.

6:12 p.m. Crooks fires first shots.

Crooks k*lled 26 seconds later.

More than 1 person was involved in this shooting, I believe. Very bad security by Secret Service. News this morning that many of the security detail were not real secret service agents, but were assigned to security detail by Dept. of Homeland Security.
Someone other than FBI should be investigating this, starting in Oval Office and working down.

Well that’s both surprising and unsurprising

Best comment I’ve read so far-
Republican Voters chose their nominee despite what their Donors wanted
Democrat Donors chose their nominee despite what their Voters wanted

I understand it's being spun that way, but most Dem voters I've talked with didn't want Biden to be their nominee and were hoping for better choices to begin with.

Then they should have run in the Primary and given voters the choice.

And that's exactly what PH said. Donors chose Biden to be the nominee until he couldn't anymore - no other viable options in the primaries. Now they've picked Harris. Why do you not understand that?

Ive been noticing for years, what every the democrat talking points are falsely accusing you of, is exactly what they're doing. This time its destroying democracy. If I was a D I wouldn't waste my time participating in my primary.

Democrats only want abortion, high taxes, homosexual crap, illegal immigrants and DEI crap. Look at the number of gov't employees who are in their position based solely on DEI, being gay, or being female. Democrats hardly ever mention the economy or national defense.

You all are hilarious. Much to the chagrin of most left leaning voters I know, Biden went for a second term.

Then, no one decides to give him a primary challenge.

Voters are presented with a "I guess this is what our option is"

Pretty much everyone I know has been hoping Joe would drop out since the beginning.

He drops out after several high profile rebukes from several high name folks and donors.

The only voters complaining are the ones who wouldn't have voted for him to begin with. LOL.

Meanwhile, the voters that pretty much had to vote for him in the primary are thankful to have another option.

That just makes my point. Lots of Republicans didn’t want Trump. They wanted someone else. BUT Republicans at least had a Primary and their voters got to decide. I agree 100% that most Democrat voters didn’t want Biden. But the Powers That Be refused to have an open Primary. If he was going to drop out he needed to do so before the Primary. It’s not about whether I’d vote for him or not. It’s a matter of what is Democratic and what is not.

If demcrates believe in democracy, Trump would be running against Sanders.

Sure, he should have dropped out before the primaries. He didn't and that was a mistake. However, he did, so it is what it is. Either way, everyone will have a choice come November. However, even then, we don't live in a true direct democracy. If it were, then Trump would have never been elected to begin with.

Honestly, a lot of this would be better if we had ranked choice voting in primaries.

Again, most voters I've chatted with are happy that they'll get a new choice come November. The only folks I've seen that are upset about this turn of events are Trump supporters.

For what it's worth, my primary choices never make it to the general election and didn't this time either.

In this day and age, no honest American citizen would vote for a Democrat. It is a party of lies and deceit. I wonder when they will tell Biden he dropped out ?

The house USSS hearing today only created more questions. The only postive thing was some bipartisanship, DEI is not a good hiring practice when it involves their security.
