Remember with Greg Marshall hired Jeff Meyer at Winthrop becaues Marshall didn't know anything about the Big South Conference schools? If RD doesn't get the head coaching positon at Radford, maybe new head coach would hire him on as an assistant, just as Marshall did for Meyer.
