Amidst all the hand wringing and aingst about the QB position, our D-Line has put up some incredible numbers against the run. After a season opening crazy first quarter against Southern Miss, the Flames D-Line and front seven have given up an average of less than fifty yards a game, including an absolutely filthy 24 yards to Wake Forest. Not sure that I have seen that kind of dominance since I have been going to games. Surely the Sages that frequent this board can conjure an appropriate nickname?

I like that A LOT! "Steel Curtain", "Monsters of the Midway", "Purple People Eaters", Liberty Flames "FIREWALL" Defense!
This could stick! We need someone from Liberty's awesome graphics department to make a giant poster with four man-sized lineman with a LOGO "FIREWALL" across the top. I would buy that t-shirt.
