Tatum Sheppard, a 2020 LU grad won the Miss Virginia pageant Saturday.
Her mother won Miss America in 1987.

Reminiscent of Shannon DePuy back in the early 90s. That was a pretty big deal back then when she was a finalist on the national stage. Seems like these things get little attention today.

Funny thing...saw Shannon being interviewed for one of her books...and she mentioned that she was dating a guy from LU prior to winning Miss VA...this LU guy told her that he and his buddies thought he could do much better...so he dropped her.

Really funny stuff. Just wondering if anyone on here remembers. I think he was from SC.
