It is becoming increasingly clear that Fauchi did support the factory in Wuhan (and others). It was somewhat indirectly. I will withhold judgement on that until it is confirmed by other sources.
What is 100% clear is that Fauchi is horribly dishonest or has no idea what he is talking about. The first month the virus was discovered, he said that "masks are ineffective" and did more harm than good. Very, very to easy to find the video that shows him saying it. One cannot deny that. He has changed his mind more than Gregg Marshall. Most of the health care community has as well.
BTW, I got the vaccine, I am not anti-vaccine. I am considered a high-risk person. I would not encourage anyone under the age of 35 to get it, unless they have other contributing health problems.
i'm not anti anything from a preventative standpoint. masks are annoying but i don't care, i wear neck gators that do absolutely nothing and nobody says a word. If i fall into a chair where they are poking people with the vaccine, i'll let them proceed. One of the issues is that the only argument i now hear regarding masks is that "it helps others feel better" as a major reason to keep wearing it. get out of here.

Fauci has tied himself in knots pretty frequently, when he's asked about florida and texas he just basically looks completely out of sorts. When you have people close to you that have died from Covid you certainly try and discuss this stuff with some care but some of this stuff continuing is pretty ridiculous. Its all CYA.

I believe very few governors are safe come next year. its going to be a bloodletting. theres no way our fat stooge here in illinois is going to get reelected.

I've been wearing a gator as well, and you are correct that they are not recommended as being effective because they are single layer cloth, but have pretty much not been questioned til recently. American Airlines has announced they will not meet their masking requirement for passengers. Allegedly brought to their attention by a Twitter Karen.

Just go ahead and wear an official surgical mask over the gator. Studies have shown that it allows an extra layer of protection that is especially helpful if you are already double-vaccinated. Of course, the efficacy threshold is extremely vulnerable to the new Norwegian variants that contain certain systemic and imperialistic elements. The only thing that can stop those variants is excessive street protesting along with additional state-mandated restrictions.

No double masking for this guy
I will try to avoid flying AA, but if I have to, I will just switch from the gator to the surgical mask while I am in their "jurisdiction" and switch back when I am not. As far as I know, they are still the only airline which is not allowing them.

Going to Vegas in under a month on AA. Hopefully the world will be mask free by then. Trending that way

As you should be! I think it’s been about 7 years since we’ve been. The hotels/casinos just announced they are going mask free which is gonna be nice. We thought about going in July but it was about $300-600 more fore the same trip. Reason? That’s when the mask mandate was originally supposed to be lifted.
Staying at the Cosmo and I definitely want to try Secret Pizza. Piff and Absinthe are on our show list. All mask free!

One of the first things cacelled last spring for me was a work conference in Vegas. Since my wife and I have never been we tacked on some extra days to hang out together. I'm not sure when, but that trip will be rescheduled!

I'm more excited about stuff like that than removing a stupid cloth off my face haha.

Good info. Mrs Purple wasn’t too sure about Cosmo since she’d never heard of it. She was thinking Paris or Venetian. Location and Balcony overlooking Bellagio Fountains won the day for me :D
She will definitely do the spa

The mindset will remain the same though. Authority figures who hold the keys, get to say, "the science says." And when they do, they have the world at their command. At least, it looks that way for now.

This is getting more bizarre everyday. Fauci and a few other Americans might have some liability. I don't know where the evidence is leading.

Probably going nowhere. Let's not forget that Trump put him in charge, knowing that he was a germaphobe. He was pretty much introduced as the man who thinks handshaking should be outlawed. Bad move bringing him in and and not handing it off to military professionals.

One of the few mistakes Trump made. I think Fauci helped created a loophole in 2017 to get around the Obama admin 2014 ban on gain of function research here in the US ... moved it to Wuhan while Trump admin was distracted battling the deepstate and Russia accusations.

China does this kind of thing to their own people. Killing off the old and the less healthy is considered advantageous to a totalitarian regime. So, from their perspective, they would be doing the West a great favor. In that sense, it would be hard to reconcile it all as a grand shadowy scheme against us.
