We sweep the double header today in dominant fashion, 7-1 and 8-0 (in 5). Second game was particularly impressive, as it came against their ace, Megan Garst, who had an ERA of 2.20 coming in. Emily Sweat hit a walk-off 2 run double to get to the run-rule margin with 2 outs in the 5th. Not something you expect to see with Garst on the mound. Kirby and Keeney went the distance for the wins.

On the video broadcast they said that in two complete games against Liberty last year, Garst only gave up 5 hits and 1 run total.

They didn't play last year (COVID). In 2019 Garst's line was 14 inn., 3H, 0R, and 19Ks and 1 No-hitter. Won both games 1-0 and 1-0. Her lifetime ERA 1.32! Maybe a tad higher after today!
