It's possible it's case sensative.. should all be lowercase.

Every time I try to join the league I get an error saying the password is not correct

I did...and I got at Error #109 screen (Password is not correct)

It's still up. I just clicked the link from the first page and it took me straight to the league. Have 3 more spots in the league.
